On a cool fall morning in the Indian Valley, a lone stallion stood by the river looking around for any sign of danger. The sun was barely peaking out over the mountain tops. The land had an orange color to it as the sun started to rise. The stallion drank some water. As he moved away from the water, his fiery chestnut coat shined in what little sunlight there was. The stallion looked around again. He still saw nothing. He had no idea where he was. He had come quite a distants. All the while he was thinking of what he should do. He wasn't sure if he should try to start his own herd or to just take some more time and wander until he could think of what he wanted to do. Then he heard something. It was a sound so small, he decided to ignore it at first.

A dappled grey mare woundered too far from the herd and got lost. A few of her sisters followed her. She had lost her stallion in a round up. She was the lead mare and she could not take the place of the stallion. She was 16hands tall and pure musle she was born in the wild and wild is what she was. Her dappled gray coat was just from running threw a stream. She decided to wounder towards another creek in search of a new stud. she saw a taller chestnut drinking and she woundered about him so she watched him closly but then he looked in her direction.

Utah whinnied and raised his head as he galloped up toward her. As he galloped, he gave a little buck as he ran. He moved closer to her. He wasn't exactly sure of what she wanted to do next.

Utah raised his head as he ran. He looked back quickly to see the mares in the herd. He turned back and looked at Dutches. He turned his attention back to in the direction he was headed. He galloped ahead faster. He did not go to far ahead.
